Frisch zum Relaunch von FREEFUNKIN dürfen wir uns auf einen exzellenten Freestyle Soul Funk Mix von DJ BLUEPRINT aus Luxemburg freuen. Eine erfrischende Mischung aus super deepen Rare Groove Knallern, schönen Soul Nummern und auch ein paar Reggae Perlen auf knackigen 30 Minuten. Damit macht er den Start zum “neuen” FREEFUNKIN Portal und ist auch der erste offizielle DJ im gerade erst gegründeten FF COLLECTIVE - der unabhängigen Booking Agentur für aufstrebende Funk DJs.

“This is tomorrow is a project I started a few years ago when I bought my Akai mpc 2000xl. After playing drums in various bands I wanted to try something different, so I kept my setup real basic, an Akai mpc 2000 xl, pro tools le for recording and lots of records. Everything is sampled, programmed and sequenced on the mpc, no computer programs such as reason, live or whatever. I‘m currently looking for a label to release my music.
In 2005 I started DJ’ing as DJ BLUEPRINT to spread some funk and soul throughout the universe, so expect soul, funk, breaks, hiphop, reggae and much more in my DJ sets. I like to play everything from Alton Ellis to ZZ Hill. I DJ with actual records, no serato, tracktor or other computer based programs, that‘s why I spend most of my money on dusty 45‘s from the 60‘s and 70‘s. I had the pleasure of sharing the decks with Malachi Trout (skyline recordings), Tobias Kirmayer (tramp records), Luke Vibert (warp) and many others so far. After playing at Luxembourg’s best bars including the Elevator and the Dqliq bar, being resident dj at the Autrepart bar, playing in Strasbourg (France), Barcelona (Spain), Vilanova (Spain), Brussels (Belgium), I’m always looking for new places to present my DJ sets.
